

It’s easy to just steamroll almost every enemy with every basic attack. I want to have a good idea of where I should position my people in order to efficiently defeat everybody.

I want to feel like I understand all the intertwining systems, which means there shouldn’t be that many. Specifically, as little strategy as possible. When I play a strategy game, as a non-strategy player, I look for something a little different from most people.

I mean, I don’t play a ton of strategy games. I sure didn’t expect to love this game more than any strategy game I’ve played before. I’ve mentioned on here before that I wanted to play it in the hope that the strategy stuff would, at least, stay out of the way of joke delivery. I was drawn to Project X Zone 2 after seeing some of its weird, silly, self-referential jokes shared on Twitter. Project X Zone 2 has everyone in it, and I’m in too ⊟
